As the needs of the U.S. Government have changed due to an increase in internal and external cyber-based threats, the rise in cloud computing and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs, the need to lock down and secure IT resources and data have become a key priority. Today's market demands solutions that are fully customized to meet the specific needs of Federal agencies, government contractors, data facilities and work programs that involve both internal and external resources. GuidePoint Security provides the customization and support Federal IT departments need to address today's real-world security cyber threats.

"Matt is the right executive, joining us at the right time, to help our government clients bolster their IT defenses and cyber capacities while minimizing costs," added Brian Hart, Federal Partner at GuidePoint Security. "The time and opportunity is now to move IT departments from 'at risk' to 'secure' and we are very excited about how our unique value proposition has resonated with customers and prospects."

Keller's 15+ years of IT experience managing and engineering solutions across both private and government networks includes his recent post as Principal Security Engineer, Team and Technical Lead and Computer Network Defense Architect for a government contract. Prior to that appointment, Keller served as the Senior Cyber Forensics' Analyst and Forensic Lab Manager for a Department of Defense Cyber Security Operation Center. During this time, Keller designed, engineered and integrated cyber security solutions to mitigate insider and external threats on different classified networks. This unique blend of practical experience makes Keller the ideal person to help GuidePoint Security's Federal customers protect their most vital IT and data assets.
