Smartronix Hires Two Strategic Account Executives to Grow Cloud Practice

RESTON, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/23/13 -- Smartronix announces that it has hired two technology veterans as Directors of Strategic Programs, Mr. Sameer Ramchandani and Mr. Tom Banks, to bolster its burgeoning cloud computing practice.

Mr. Ramchandani brings 18 years of experience with a unique blend of technical, business, and solid program management skills. He was previously Director for Optimos, where he managed the business and services portfolio and directed delivery across several enterprise programs in the Federal Government. In his new position, Mr. Ramchandani will lead business development and strategy to grow cloud initiatives for Smartronix' Federal Government customers, with a particular emphasis on leveraging strong experience with Microsoft technologies.

Mr. Banks has more than 13 years of consulting and business development experience with information technology firms, including Dell Computer Corporation, Juniper Networks, and Deloitte Consulting. Most recently, he was Director of Business Development at IntelliDyne, where he led their Federal civilian markets team with a focus on their cloud computing and cyber security offerings. In his new role, Mr. Banks will capitalize on opportunities related to the strong strategic partnership between Smartronix and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Smartronix was named an AWS Premier Consulting Partner last fall.
