RESTON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/11/13 -- EmeSec, Inc., a provider of forward-looking information assurance and cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies, today announced that it has been accredited as a third party assessment organization (3PAO) under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).
As a 3PAO, EmeSec will audit cloud service providers (CSPs) and ensure they have documented and tested the necessary security controls to comply with current federal policies and security requirements.
"We are thrilled to add this new offering to our growing portfolio of cybersecurity capabilities focused cloud and mobile security solutions. This accreditation builds upon our successful track record in conducting security audits and assessments and guiding government agencies in adopting cloud computing securely," said Maria Horton, CEO of EmeSec.
