BRIEF BIOGRAPHY: Anna Claiborne currently serves as the Chair of the Security Working Group in the Open Data Center Alliance. In this role, she leads contributors from around the globe to develop security requirements for cloud and next generation data centers from the perspective of an enterprise end-user or IT.

She has an extensive background in several areas of security and software development. She recently was a Product Manager for Security Services at Terremark, overseeing product development and product line management for Managed Security Services, with a strong emphasis on cloud computing security development. She previously served as software developer for high volume credit card processing application, medical billing program developer, and penetration tester. She founded Prolexic Technologies in 2004, the first company to offer Distributed Denials of Service Attack (DDoS) mitigation services independent of carrier network.

Anna is very active is the security and networking communities, and has spoken on many topics surrounding DDoS. She currently serves on the Peering Forum Board of Directors, and is often involved in activities around North American Network Operators Group (NANOG).
