SOASTA, the leader in cloud testing, on Tuesday announced it has extended its industry leading performance testing solution CloudTest with the release of CloudTest Analytics, the first real time Business Intelligence engine purpose-built for Performance Management.  This new analytic engine includes a unique data extraction layer that captures any Web Performance metric from both inside and outside of firewalls.  All the metrics are then aggregated and correlated onto a single real-time timeline using the CloudTest Analytics engine by pulling them from a scalable data warehouse.  Performance engineers can quickly identify issues and optimize the performance of websites and web applications while tests are being run.

Built from the ground up by the SOASTA engineering team, with over 20 years of BI experience, CloudTest Analytics supports the unique needs of today's web application development, performance management and testing communities in their drive to deliver the best web experience possible.

A powerful aspect of CloudTest Analytics is the new extraction layer, which can capture key performance metrics from a wide variety of existing production monitoring systems (such as those from CA, Dynatrace, IBM, Nimsoft, New Relic, RightScale, Keynote Systems and AppDynamics), as well as SOASTA's own test monitors.  With this new release, CloudTest provides comprehensive, actionable Performance Intelligence through innovative, gesture-based dashboards and widgets, which visualize the test and performance metrics in various charts, lists and crosstabs. Performance Engineers now have a compelling, consolidated, end-to-end view of all aspects of web performance including application and database servers, load balancers, instrumented code and bandwidth, all the way to actual end user experience.
