SAP, which flubbed its first billion-dollar run at the cloud, an adventure it's still trying to salvage, has taken another tack on SaaS and released a hosted project codenamed 12sprints to public beta.
The widgetry is supposed to be for collaborative decision-making and SAP is touting it as one of a kind.
It envisions teams inviting people inside or outside an organization and employing interactive methods for brainstorming and feedback.

12sprints integrates components of BusinessObjects' Explorer so users can analyze data and apply the findings to the decision-making framework.
SAP will offer both free and paid versions when 12sprints becomes generally available.
SAP has also reached out to the 2.0 Adoption Council, a bunch of 2.0 thought leaders from large enterprises, as a strategic research partner to figure out what to do with the thing. 12sprints will be offered to Council members as a collaborative decision-making tool for group projects and as a test-bed for product feedback.
